NGK's pure alumina ceramic insulator and a 98% pure copper core support heat control and efficient conduction, while many Laser Iridium designs include a platinum pad on the ground electrode to ensure even wear in distributorless ignition systems. This Box of 4 (IFR5N10) is intended as a direct OE-style replacement for vehicles using fine-wire iridium plugs.
